Abstract
Anthropometric Growth Card for Primary School Pupils as an Indicator of Initial Sports Selection

Abstract
The research aims to determine the level of the variables that represents the anthropometric determinants of the initial sports selection. The study also aims to set tables and standard levels for the anthropometric determinant variables, in addition to set an anthropometric card for the initial selection of primary school pupils.
The researcher used the descriptive approach by applying the survey method for its suitability to the problem of the study. The sample of the study consisted of (750) pupils which represents (5.24%) of the whole study community. The researcher used questionnaire, measurement and test as means for data collection. The researcher also used arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage, simple correlation coefficient, T-test for independent samples, and SPSS program as statistical means to analyze the data of the study.
The study reached to build anthropometric determinants card for the primary school pupils as the card showed an evolution in all the anthropometric variables that the study dealt with. The study also reached to build standard levels for the anthropometric variables for the six primary school classes, as all the studied anthropometric variables were within the natural ranges with regard to the arithmetic mean of the sample. The researcher recommended the following:
- Adopting the anthropometric card in evaluating the level of anthropometric development for the primary school pupils.

یهدف البحث إلى تحدید مستوى المتغیرات التی تمثل المحددات المورفولوجیا للانتقاء الریاضی المبدئی و اعداد الجداول والمستویات المعیاریة لمتغیرات المحدد المورفولوجی، اعداد بطاقة مورفولوجیا للانتقاء المبدئی للتلامیذ فی الصفوف الابتدائیة ، استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفی بالأسلوب المسحی لملائمته وطبیعة مشکلة البحث ، تکونت عینة البحث من (750) تلمیذاً یمثلون (5.24 %) من مجتمع البحث الکلی واستخدم الباحث (الاستبیان والقیاس والاختبار) کوسائل لجمع البیانات واستعان الباحث بـــ (الوسط الحسابی و الانحراف المعیاری و النسبة المئویة و معامل الارتباط البسیط و اختبار T للعینات المستقلة والحقیبة الاحصائیة SPSS ) کوسائل احصائیة لمعالجة بیانات البحث ، توصل الباحث إلى بناء بطاقة المحددات المورفولوجیا لتلامیذ الدراسة الابتدائیة ، اظهرت البطاقة تطور فی جمیع المتغیرات المورفولوجیا التی تناولتها الدراسة ، وتم التوصل إلى بناء مستویات معیاریة للمتغیرات المورفولوجیا ولصفوف الدراسة الابتدائیة الست إذ کانت المتغیرات المورفولوجیا المدروسة کافة ضمن المدیات الطبیعیة بما یتعلق بالأوساط الحسابیة للعینة ، وأوصى الباحث بما یأتی :
اعتماد البطاقة المورفولوجیا التی افرزتها الدراسة فی تقییم مستوى التطور المورفولوجی لتلمیذ الدراسة الابتدائیة ، والاعتماد على البطاقة المورفولوجیا التی افرزتها الدراسة فی توجیه التلامیذ نحو ممارسة نشاطات ریاضیة محددة دون غیرها من النشاطات، وفقا لمتطلبات ذلک النشاط والاعتماد على البطاقة المورفولوجیا التی افرزتها الدراسة فی الکشف عن التفوق المورفولوجی لدى بعض التلامیذ، وکذلک الحال للکشف عن التأخر البیولوجی الذی یظهر لدى بعض التلامیذ للعمل على الاستفادة من الخامات الجیدة ومعالجة الخامات الضعیفة.
