Abstract
This study aimed to compare the types of multiple intelligences according to gender and the university to which physical education students belong in some universities in Oman.
To achieve the aims of the study, a questionnaire to measure the eight types of multiple intelligences consists of 81 items has been developed and administered on a selected Physical Education students affiliated to Sultan Qaboos University (90 students) and Suhar University (115 students).
By using descriptive statistics and test "T" to measure the differences between independent samples, the results revealed that the most types of multiple intelligences among Omani Physical Education students was: Interpersonal, intrapersonal, and bodily-kinesthetic intelligences, while the least commonly intelligences types among them were musical and logical-mathematical. The results also indicated that no significant differences in types of multiple intelligences affected by gender or university.

Abstract [العربیة]
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى مقارنة أنواع الذکاءات المتعددة وفقا للجنس والجامعة التی ینتمون إلیها طلبة کلیة التربیة الریاضیة فی بعض الجامعات العمانیة.
ولتحقیق أهداف الدراسة قام الباحثین بتطویر مقیاس خاص لمسح أنواع الذکاءات المتعددة الثمانیة، تالف المقیاس من 81 عبارة موزعة على الذکاءات الثمانیة، وبعد التأکد من صدقه وثباته تم تطبیقه على عینتین مختارتین من طلاب جامعة السلطان قابوس (90 طالب وطالبة) وجامعة صحار (115 طالب وطالبة).
وباستخدام الإحصاء الوصفی واختبار "ت" لقیاس الفروق بین العینات المستقلة توصلت الدراسة إلى أن أکثر أنواع الذکاءات توافرا لدى طلبة تخصص التربیة الریاضیة فی سلطنة عمان هی: الذکاء الذاتی والذکاء الاجتماعی والذکاء الحرکی فی حین أن أقلها وجودا هی: الذکاءات الموسیقیة والمنطقیة، کما توصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق فی أنواع الذکاءات المتعددة ممکن أن تعزى لمتغیری الجنس أو الجامعة.
