The study aimed at being acquainted with the effects of concurrent and sequential training of maximum strength and oxygen endurance on certain components of the body composition in addition to the differences between those two types of the training at the post test for the same variables.
The experimental method was used. The study conducted on a sample of 20 subjects from the "Athletic Qaraqush Club". The sample divided into two groups with 10 subjects each. The homogeneity and equality were achieved in variables of age, high, weight and certain components of the body composition.
The procedure of the study included determining the maximum intensities of the endurance and external weights for setting the intensities that will be used in the trainings. Two pilot studies were conducted. The first one was for the adopted exercise in the study and the second one was for conducting a training session.
After that, the final field procedures were applied which started at pre tests of the body composition components followed by applying the two curricula of the concurrent and sequential trainings which lasted 9 weeks with 3 meso cycles. Each meso cycle included 3 micro cycles with (2:1) workload wave and with 3 training sessions per a week for the concurrent training and 6 training sessions per a week for the sequential one. Finally, the posts tests were conducted using the same procedure for the pre tests.
After using the SPSS package to process the data, the conclusions were as the following:
The first experimental group, which applied the concurrent training, significantly decreased the fat weight and significantly increased the body weight.
The second experimental group, which applied the sequential training, significantly decreased the fat weight and significantly increased the free fat weight, body water and body weight.
There were significant differences between the two groups of the concurrent and sequential training in the free fat weight, body water and body weight so that they were tended to increase with the sequential training and decreased with the concurrent one.
The most important recommendations of the study were to emphasize on coaches to use the concurrent training for improving the maximal strength, oxygen endurance, fat weight reduction, free fat weight, body water and body weight; and to emphasize on coaches to use the sequential training for reducing the fat weight in addition to raise the free fat weight, body water and body weight.

The problem of the study is the limits within which the tests are made. Some of the tests are difficult and not suitable to the samples and research environment. Thus, it is necessary to find more realistic tests. This study aims at designing tests to measure the accuracy of some basic ground tennis drives in a scientific way using standard values. The descriptive approach is adopted by the researcher. The test is made on a sample of (119) students. To achieve the aims of the study, the procedures include designing three tests to find the accuracy of some tennis drives. In addition to the survey tests, other tests are made to find the scientific basis for performing tests and to discover the standard values statistically. The researcher recommends that the tests should be more realistic and suit the assessment environment by using tests designed for environments having the same standard levels and finding different levels to suit different samples.

In recent decade, weakness, slackness, and bad health are the common characteristics of individuals, consequently, they cannot endure an hour of daily pressure in their lives. Since education is considered one of the most important human systems in contemporary societies, this study aims to identify the impact of entertaining sport in a number of functional variables such as heart rate, number of breathing times, test of Air ability PWC 170, test of oxygen capability VO2 max, and the results of the academic achievement for the students of the university of technology. The researcher applied the experimental method to first year students of engineering construction and building department, university of Technology. The number of the sample was 150 students of academic year 2010/2011.This number is reduced to 100 after excluding of athletes, non-passing students, and pilot study sample of students. The sample was divided randomly into two groups, experimental and control, each one has 50 students. Having checked the equality only in previous tests, since achievement of the students is zero at the beginning of the academic year, of physiological variables between the two groups , the experimental not the control group was subjected to the entertaining program .the results were processed statistically after finishing the program. The researcher found that the experimental group subjected to aforementioned program had achieved better results than the control group in both physiological variables and academic achievement. Consequently, the researcher recommended to focus on entertaining activities for university students because such activities play important role in improving the functional variables and academic achievement, in addition to that, the researcher also recommended to bring back the lessons of physical education at universities due to their positive impact on students.

The research aims at :
- Recognizing the factors of the special physical fitness elements for Iraqi elite clubs players.
- Constructing a battery of special physical fitness elements for the players of elite handball clubs.
The research fields includes :
- Human scope : The players of (Al-Futwa, Al-Karkh, Al-Jaish, Al-Shurtta and Al-Kufa )clubs.
- Time scope : The period between ( 15/11/2011) to (1/4/2012).
- Place scope : Indoor halls of (Al-Futwa, Al-Karkh, Al-Jaish, Al-Shurtta and Al-Kufa )clubs.
The researchers have adopted the descriptive methodology with the correlation style for its convenience to the nature of the research. The research community has been represented by the players of Iraqi elite tournament clubs (term 2011-2012) which were (12) clubs . While the research sample included (70) players divided into five clubs (Al-Futwa, Al-Karkh, Al-Jaish, Al-Shurtta and Al-Kufa ) , who represent (14) players for each club after excluding the goal keepers. The researchers have used a questionnaire , tests and the content analysis as a tool of collecting data.
The researchers have used the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, the standard error of the arithmetic mean, coefficient of skewenss (Person), and the coefficient analysis by the method of the essential components of Hottling by using the orthogonal rotation.
The researchers have concluded the following :
1. The coefficient analysis by using the orthogonal rotation performed on (18) tests of special physical fitness representing the six assumption factors of the special physical fitness. It shows five factors accepted in terms of factor acceptance ,which are :The first factor is the transitional speed factor, the second is the explosive force factor for the legs, the third is the explosive force factor of the arms, the fourth is the fitness factor, and the fifth factor is the force factor discriminated by speed.
2. The special physical fitness battery has been obtained in the light of its accessed factors whose units achieve highest saturations on the factors ,which were:
a- Test of 30m. run.
b- Vertical jump test
c- Test of throwing medicine ball (800gm.) with one arm.
d- Test of zigzag run between barriers with numbers.
e- Test of push up (10 seconds).
3. The fifth units selected for the special physical fitness are considered pure scales for their saturations on the other factors are about to be zero . This result confirms the decrease of the correlation among tests.
The researchers have recommended :
- Using the battery of the special physical fitness in the practical tests to recognize the training program activity at the end of the special physical preparation for Iraqi handball clubs.

The development in the sport of Gymnastics is not a coincidence but is the result of progress on the technical and research levels that helped athletes in their performance of difficult and complex skills. The apparatuses used in gymnastics are various and require most complex and complicated skills including rotating swinging and flipping which can be taught through exemplary performance using modern technology in presenting the performance of the movement to the athlete with minimal effort. Thus the research aims to identify some of the biomechanics variables the forward hands flip with double and single landing and identify the best movement performed by the sample according to the effort spent in the performance of the skill. The problem of study as expressed by the researcher is ( which moves requires the greatest effort ) . The study sample is one player chosen deliberately and he is the Iraqi champion in gymnastics for the professional category. The researcher used the descriptive approach for its convenience to the nature of the study. The study concluded that the performance of the forward hands flip with double landing required more effort than the forward hands flip with single landing Thus, the research recommended adopting the outcome results for biomechanics variables for the judging the performance of students in the college of sports education and conducting similar experiments for other skills to categorize most of the biomechanics variables of gymnastic skills .
