The effectiveness of a proposed training curriculum using conditional training in a number of basic skills of youth players in handball

The research aims to discover the following:
- The Effectiveness of the training curriculum using conditional training in a number of basic skills of youth players handball.
- Differences in the number of basic skills between the experimental and control groups in the post-test.
 
  -  The experiment was used on a sample of the youth players of Al-Fatwa Sports Club in handball. They were chosen in a random way and divided randomly into two groups (experimental and control) and (10) players per group, The research included the design of a proposed training curriculum using conditional exercises applied to the experimental group, as well as conducting a number of exploratory experiments to determine the exercises used as well as the appropriate stress, as well as the appropriate repetitions and rest times for these exercises, and then the tribal technical tests were carried out, The experimental group carried out the exercise exercises using conditional exercises, while the control group carried out the curriculum prepared by the team coach. The experiment took 8 weeks during two intermediate sessions with 4 junior courses, Ripple movement load (3: 1), (3) training units per week, and then the researchers carried out the technical tests of the procedures and the same steps followed in the tribal tests. The researchers used the following statistical methods: (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage, (T) for independent samples),
 
               The researchers reached the following conclusions:
- The proposed training curriculum using conditional training has led to the development of a number of basic skills by comparing the results of the tribal and remote tests of the experimental group.
- The curriculum prepared by the trainer led to the development of skill (scoring) by comparing the results of tribal and remote tests of the control group.
- The experimental group, which used the proposed training curriculum using conditional training, achieved a better development than the control group which used the curriculum prepared by the trainer in a number of basic skills in the research by comparing the results of the remote tests between the experimental and control groups.
 
 

The relationship between strength- distinguish by speed (for legs and arms) and some of the mechanical variables with the accuracy of shooting by jump in team handball

Abstract
The idea of the ​​research is summarized   in studying some of mechanical variables for the research sample and their relationship with the accuracy of shooting by jump in team handball.
The research aimed to identify:
1-Values of strength- distinguish by speed  ​​for  hand ball players.

2- Values ​​ofmechanical variablesduringthe shooting by jump in team handball.
3-Values ​​oftheaccuracy of shooting by jump in team handball.
4- The relationship betweenstrength- distinguish by speed and the accuracy of shooting by jump in team handball.
5- The relationship betweensome of the mechanical variables and the accuracy of the shooting by jump in team hand ball.
6- The relationship betweenstrength- distinguish by speed andsome of mechanicalvariables of shooting by jump in team hand ball.
The researchers used the descriptive method for its convenience to the research nature, the research community was consisted of the(18) youth handball players in Nineveh, while the research sample has been selected intentionally  from players who use the right arm in shooting whom they were 8 players, the researchers used test , measurement and scientific observation as a tools of data collection , the scientific observation was carried out by using  (Casio exlim)  digital camera  with speed of  ( 120 f/ sec)and placed  ( 9.02 m) on  the right side of the player with a lens  height of  ( 1.25 m)  to obtain  the values  of some variables for the players and the ball , a yard stick one meter was used and filmed in both positions (horizontal and vertical)  to calculate the real dimensions of picture .
Data were statistically handled treated by applying (SPSS) program to obtain (the arithmetic mean standard deviation, the simple correlation and t test for independent samples)

Effect Of using Differentiated Instruction Strategy On Acquiring And Preserving Some Offensive Skills In Handball

The research aims at revealing the following :
Effect of using a differentiated Instruction strategy on learning some offensive skills in handball for the fourth-year students / institute of preparing teachers in Nineveh .
To verify the objectives of the research , the researchers have hypothesized the following :
The researchers have hypothesized there were no significance statistical differences in :
The results among the post-tests in learning some offensive skills in handball for the three research groups.
The research community was selected randomly from the students of teachers preparation institute in Nineveh (Mosul centre) . On the other hand, the research sample was selected randomly from the fourth-year students / institute of teachers preparation (semester 2012-2013) as (53) students .
The researcher have selected three groups . The methods have been distributed to the groups on a lottery method .So, the research groups were as follows :
Group B :the first experimental group ( applying the flexible group strategy and learning centers ).
Group A :the second experimental group ( applying the strategy of learning centers ).
Group C :the control group ( applying the method adopted in the institute ).
The equivalence was done among the groups in the variables of (age, height and mass) as well as in some elements of physical fitness affecting learning some offensive skills in handball. Accordingly, the researchers have used the experimental design called the design of the equivalent random groups with the pre-tests and post-tests vigorous control.
Both research instruments have been prepared representing by the tests used to measure the researched handball skills. So, the training program related to handball skills (Pass the ball from above shoulder level , pass the ball from above the head, pass to the side, shooting from forward jump, and shooting from the level of shoulder to the side ) have been prepared according to the strategy of learning centers and the flexible groups . The program lasted (3) weeks as two learning units per a week . This program has been performed during the period from 3/3/2013 till 26/3/2013.
After applying the experiment , preparing the research instruments , collecting data , inputting data and processing them statistically by using ( arithmetic mean, standard deviation, difference test, anova one way, dimensional difference analysis , simple and multi correlation coefficient and L.S.D ).
The following results have been obtained :

1. The differentiated Instruction strategy ( learning centers and flexible groups) achieves better acquisition of some offensive skills in handball compared with the normal method.
2. The strategy of learning centers and flexible groups is better than the strategy of (learning centers alone) in acquiring some offensive skills in handball.
Recommendations :
In the light of the research results , the researchers have recommended the following :
1. Using the strategy of learning centers and the flexible groups in the differentiated Instruction in teaching handball skill and the other skills.
2. Using the strategy of learning centers in the case of inability to combine the strategy of learning centers and the flexible groups in the differentiated Instruction
3. training the teachers (of primary and secondary schools) and the education supervisors during their service on the differentiated learning to make them know the characteristics and benefits of this modern Instruction strategy.
Suggestions :
The researchers have formed a group of suggestions for the future studies as follows :
1. Making similar study on the rest of the text practical materials of the secondary schools,and the institutes and colleges.
2. Making researches to compare the other strategies with the strategy of the differentiated Instruction.

Effect of a Training program by Using Self –Regulation strategies of Mood for Handball players

Research aims to :
- Constructing a training psychological program to regulate and manage the mood of the handball players according to various scientific strategies .
- Defining the effect of the training program by using various strategies of self-regulation mood in modulating mood

The researchers used the experimental method for its suitability to the nature of the research, and the research community included (20) players between the ages of (18 - 20) years, whom they were used to apply (a measure of mood and pilot study, and reliability) they selected in comprehensive restriction manner. The research tool included (Brunel) scale prepared by (Peter Terry et al, 2003)which is one of the foreign and international standards of foreign and international tool for collecting data. The statistical tools were limited to the following scales as a tool of , standard deviation ,of skwenss coefficient , simple correlation coefficient , percentage and anova one way analysis .
The researchers reached the following conclusions:
- The effectiveness of the psychological training program , prepared by the researcher was verey effective in adjusting negative mood to positive mood
- The psychological training program effects on decreasing the degrees of the negative scale axes and increasing the degree of the positive mood axis for the experimental group
- The psychological training program effects on self-regulation of mood for young players via applying various strategies of the training program

Impact of The Organizational Teaching of the Planning–Attacking Content in Handball and its on Scientific Thinking

The study aims at:
1. Revealing the impact of organizational teaching on the planning behavior in handball for the third stage students at the College of Physical Education.
2. Revealing the impact of organizational teaching on scientific thinking for the third stage students at the College of Physical Education.
Accordingly, the following is hypothesized:
1. There are statistical differences between the mean of the experimental students group marks taught according to the organizational teaching and the mean of the control group taught according to the used method in the scientific thinking for the benefit of the experimental group.
The study population consisted of (196) of the third stage students at the College of Physical Education/ University of Mosul for the year
2011–2012 and the study sample consisted of (50) students. Experimental design, with one experimental group applying pre and post tests, were used. Organizational teaching was adopted as independent variable and the researcher prepared the teaching plans in addition to preparing the student booklet for the teaching materials and the teacher booklet for the organizational teaching. The experiment took (9) weeks where the students received (9) lectures, one lecture in a week. A measure of scientific thinking as subordinate variable was also adopted. Statistical means were used to deal with the planning knowledge test items. Equivalence has been made among age, intelligence, scientific thinking and academic knowledge variables using SPSS software. Results have shown that experimental group students, taught according to organizational teaching, are better in all variables.
The study has summed up with the following:
The experimental group is better than the control group in planning behavior test and scientific thinking measure .
1. The organizational teaching has raised scientific thinking level for the experimental group.
Accordingly, the study recommends the following:
1. The necessity of using the organizational approach in teaching physical education as one of the efficient methods in effective learning that could lead to better results.
2. The necessity of reorganizing the contents of physical education curriculum through adopting organizational approach and clearly fixing the relations among the concepts.
3. The need for providing the teachers with guides on how to use the organizational approach in teaching physical education in general and the planning content of handball in particular.
4. The need for developing thinking skills in general and scientific thinking in particular for the students and focusing on creative skills.
The study has also proposed the following:
1. Making other studies to use the organizational approach in developing various thinking skills.
2. Making other studies dealing with the organizational approach impact on teaching and other scientific classes in physical education.
3. Making a study for constructing a training program for developing organizational teaching concept for psychical education teachers in various teaching stages.

Contribution Percentages of certain Body Measurements and Physical Fitness Components on certain Handball Attack Skills for the students of Sport Education Institution in Akra

The study aimed at being acquainted with the correlation among body measurements and certain handball attack skills for the students of Sport Education Institution in Akra; the correlation among physical fitness components and certain handball attack skills for the students of Sport Education Institution in Akra; the Contribution percentages of certain body measurements and physical fitness components on certain handball attack skills. The study also aimed at setting prediction formulas of certain handball attack skills depending upon body measurements and physical fitness components. The descriptive method with correlation style was used since it is convenient to the nature of the study. The sample included 67 students of institution of sport education in Akra. The tests of long jump from stability, throwing 3kg medicine ball, 30 m sprint, 300 m sprint, bending trunk forward-downward from standing position, zigzag running, accurate and fast passing, accuracy of distal 9m-line shooting, zigzag dribble, accuracy of long 25m passing, straight dribble and strength of the near passing from movement were used in this study in addition to certain body measurements.
The statistical package SPSS was used to process data. The most important conclusions were a negative significant correlation of the skills of passing and straight dribble to the body weight abdomen circumference; a positive significant correlation of the skills of passing, straight dribble and strength of the near throwing to the upper arm circumference and cuff length as body measurements; a positive significant correlation of the skills of zigzag dribble, accuracy of long throwing and straight dribble as skills to the locomotive speed, flexibility and agility; no significant correlation of the skills of zigzag dribble, accuracy of long throwing and straight dribble as skills to the locomotive speed, flexibility and agility. Finally, body measurements and physical fitness components collectively did not contributed significantly to the handball attack skills.

Effects of a suggested training program by using specific strength exercise on certain physical and skilful variables of junior handball players

This research aims at being acquainted with the
 Effects of specific assistant exercises on certain physical and skilful variables of the two research groups, the experimental and control.
 Statistical significant differences of certain physical and skilful variables of the two research groups, the experimental and control at the post test.
The research hypothesized he following
 There are Statistical significant differences of certain physical and skilful variables between the pre and post tests of the two research groups, the experimental and control.
 There are Statistical significant differences of certain physical and skilful variables of the two research groups, the experimental and control at the post test.
The experimental method was used as a part of procedures since it is convenient to the nature of the study. Having excluded the sample of the pilot study, the sample included 20 junior players under age of 18 year chosen at random from the 26 total society of the Ninaveh handball team at 2007-2008 training season.
The sample was divided randomly into tow groups, experimental and control by using the lot with 10 players each. The equality between the groups was done in the variables of age, high and weight in addition to the variables chosen by experts. The experimental design of the equal groups with pre-post tests was taken up. The arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Person coefficient correlation, paired t test and independent t test were used to process data statistically.
The most important conclusions were the following:
 The suggested training program improved significantly all physical and skillful variables at question.
 The experimental group excelled significantly the control group in all physical and skillful variables (excluding the leg power).
 The control group had a remarkable excellence in all physical and skillful variables (excluding the locomotive speed and the Arm explosive power).
The most important recommendations were the following:
 The attention of handball coaches should be paid to the control style of workload components at pre competition and utilization of this components effectively to improve the physical and skillful aspects .
 Conducting more similar studies for other ball games especially basketball, volleyball and soccer by using assistant strength exercises of the physical and skillful variables.

A comparative study of some kinematical variables for the flight phase of the hand boll between shooting from the (6m.) and the (9m.) line in handball

The study aimed at finding the relationship between the kinematical variables of the shooting skill from the jump of the handball starting from (6m.) and (9m.) for the flight phase in handball.

A pilot study experiment has been conducted followed by the main experiment on the research subjects, then the data were handled statistically by using the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, t-Test for dependent samples as being the statistical means of the research.
The researcher has attained a set of conclusions as follows:
1. Existence of significant differences of the angle of left knee and the horizontal vertical distance center of gravity mass of the body for the benefit of (6)meters
2. Existence for significant differences of and the inclination of right shoulder for the of knee angle the hip for the benefit of (9)meters
3. No significant differences for the rest of kinematics variables
The researcher has presented the following recommendations:
1. Confirming on the specification and training between the angles' movement and the movement of the body joints and parts during the practice of shooting in handball
2. Focusing on the horizontal and the vertical displacement while the ball on shooting during high jump in handball game.

This Study aim at :
1. Knowing the difference in Physical efficiency between youth players of Northern team of handball in the light of performance level.

Theorical part of this research included Physical efficiency and the level of achievement ,and previous studies Descriptive mothed has been used for its sutibilitey of the nature of this research .
The research conducted on the (40) players which represent the sampl of this study ,those player were intentionally choosen which they represent youth players of handball for Northern team in the championship of (2007) .The mean, standerd deviation ,anova one way and L.S.D were used as tool of this research.
The most important results were the following:
1. There were significant difference between Arbil team and both teams mosul and sulaimaniya for bertit of Arbil team.
2. There were no significcent difference in Physical efficiency Arbil team and Kirkuk.
3. The were significcent difference between the team of Kirkuk and Al- sulaimaniya for bertit of Kirkuk .
4. There were no significcent difference between mosul team and Al- sulaimaniya team.

Constructing Capability Test of shooting from jumping position By Accuracy And Tolerance Performance In Handball

The study aims at:
Constructing capability test of shooting from jumping position by accuracy and tolerance performance in handball.
The scope of the study includes the following:
- Human scope: youth players of the Northern Area Handball Clubs.
- Time: the period of time between 1/9/2008 to 29/11/2008.
- Place: The stadiums of the above mentioned clubs.
The researcher used the descriptive approach by surveying style for its appropriateness to the nature of the study.
The sample of the study were the youth players of the Northern area in Iraq in Handball for the period of time between 2008 and 2009, (72) players. The sample of costruction consisted of (27) players in a percentage of (37.5%) out of the total samples of the study. The researcher used the questionnaire, test and analyzing references as means to collect the data of the study. The researcher used also the following statistical means: arithmetical mean، standard deviation, coefficient of correlation (Pearson), Z score, t .test Skwenss correlative and 6-σ score.
capability test in shooting by accuracy and tolerance in performance in handball was construeted by the researcher.
The researcher recommended to use the test that was reached at to help handball coaches in evaluating the level of their players in shooting skill by accuracy and tolerance in performance.

Activity of using some educational techniquesby learning the skills of finishing stroke and defensive wall of handball

The study aimed at showing up the effect of using some educational techniques by learning the skills of "finishing stroke" and “defense wall” of handball. The researcher supposed that there is no statistical differences in using some educational techniques to learn the skills mentioned above, the samples were students of the physical education collage 2006-2007, and they were of classrooms “E and F”. they were divided equally in both classrooms. The researcher disqualified the failing and exam-posponed students and who used to play this game chose whom have different physical and mational fitness, hight, weight and different ages that the test were absolutely in random way. The researcher put into effect the program which was prepared by the material lecturer in regard with the general program of the physical education collages which was prepared by the sectorial commission. The experimental group started to watch the educational techniques CD's and skill's pictures of this reserch while the regular students followed the traditional program (showing & explainning the skill by the material lectuer).
After gathering and processing the data statistically by using the statistical means (arithmetic mean, standard curring and T test), the researcher concluded the following results: there is a preference in using the educational techniques of the experimental and regular ones) in the skills at circling-finishing stroke and the defensive wall. The researcher recommended that it is necessary to perform the educational techniques of learning the counter, fast and tricky-finishing stroke and he also ercommended to give more time to learn these two skills

Construction of cognitive scale of the rules of handball for student of college of sport education

The relationships between explosive power for arms and legs and some biokinematic variables for team handball players

Explosive power one of the most important physical element fitness in team handball, there are two basic important factors which are very effective in shooting these factor are explosive power for arms and legs and throwing velocity.
This research aims at knowing the values of correlation between the explosive power for arms and legs and some biokinematic variables for team handball players.
The samples of research were eight players took part in the test of the research. The data were collected through video camera by using (adobe photo shop) programs and (auto cad) programs in order to know the values of biokinematic variables.
The research revealed the following results
- There were significant correlation between the explosive power for legs and the explosive power of arms for the team handball players .
- There were significant correlation between the explosive power for legs and the velocity of shooting for the team handball players .

Recommendation
- Making sure in training to develop the explosive power for legs in team handball game.
- Making sure to develop the explosive power for shooting arm because it has important role in throwing velocity.

A comparative study for some functional Variables before and after physical effort for handball players according to their playing positions.

Handball event, as other team events, is characterized by a variety of variables, which it requires. some of these variables are basic while other variables are complimentary. This distinction of variables led that the studies considered them separately expounding their effects either by comparison, analysis or through training programs.
The effects of these variables are interrelated and are reflected in the level of performance among players. Thus the importance of this study emerged as a requirement to study all these variables and attempting to expound their results.
The study problem is defined by the lack of consideration and focus on various playing positions through training sessions or preparation periods or there is a shortage in this field. This led to study these positions from the functional, physical, and skill variables point of view .
The study aimed at achieving the following:
1- Expounding the differences in some functional variables among handball players according to their positions .
The theoretical framework included the functional variables, physical components, basic skills and various players’ positions in handball in addition to the previous literature concerning the subject. The descriptive method was used because it is appropriate to the current study. The study was conducted on a sample of 20 advanced players deliberately selected from the Northern region form the premium teams tournament for the 2005/2006 playing season.
The researcher conducted two pilot studies. The first was carried out in January 23rd 2006 on a sample of four players for the purpose of control for all the variables in the study. The average mean, standard deviationt, analysis of variance and the least significant difference L.S.D were used as statistical methods.
The results concluded were as following
1- vital capacity, can be considered important and necessary indicators for evaluating the state of the individual player and the team in functional adaptations, thus preparing a program based on this adaptation.
2- The position of the wing player was the first in order concerning the vital capacity followed by the position of outside player.
The researcher recommended the following.
1- Depending upon all functional variables in evaluating the training conditions of the players for the individual player and the team.
2- Emphasizing that handball couches to pay ther attention in various playing positions each according to the nature of its performance.
3- It is necessary to adopt a group of tests and measurements for functional a, physical and skill variables for handball players

Abstract:
This study aims at identifying for more important valves of biokinematics variables of high- jump shooting skill in handball . it also aims at identify the venation shop between among these variables and with the accuracy .the sample of the study was five players which play in the Iraqi national team of handball who have agood abolition in shooting of from out side of the nine meter area the data collected though tow video cameras biok (adobe photo shop ) programs and (AutoCAD ) programs analize the of values of body joints angels biockenamheally the study revealed the following results .
1. there were differences in the valves at the biogenetic variables at high-jump shooting skill .
2. the increase in the time at the last approaching step influenced the negatively the step speed .
3. the biokenmatic variables relation ship were weak which mean poor performance.
the recommendations were as the following .
1. priority should be the player information about ideal movements it is to give for improving the performance
2. the technical performances to flyers at this skill in training
